Twilight Saga New Moon Merchandise from Hot Topic

Official Twilight Saga New Moon Merchandise is now available! Hot Topic is selling two different shirts plus the official movie poster. All three items feature the same image–Edward, Bella, and Jacob.

There will certainly be more New Moon merchandise as the movie debut gets closer. But this is a start!

Official Twilight Saga New Moon Poster Released

The first official New Moon poster has been released! It’s exactly as I would have hoped according to the New Moon Book. Take a look:

I figured that it would have Edward, Bella, and Jacob. I like that Edward is the outcast in the picture because he certainly was during the majority of the book. It has a nice dark edge to it. What do you think?

New Moon Outtakes

I was doing some searching about possible scenes for the Twilight Saga New Moon movie today and came across some interesting information about New Moon on Stephenie Meyer’s website. Apparently she has what she calls “New Moon Outtakes” on her site. These are three different parts of New Moon that were originally written but changed for the final published book. It would be interesting to see if any of the storylines from the outtakes make it to the movie.

There are three different shorts available in pdf: Narcotics, The Scholarship, and If Jacob Didn’t Break the Rules. My thoughts:

Narcotics: I didn’t like this one. There was something about Edward saying Bella was “high” that I just didn’t like.

The Scholarship: Interesting. And a way to keep Edward in the picture more when he was gone.

If Jacob Didn’t Break the Rules: This is a MAJOR plot shift. Everything pretty much ends the same way to roll into Eclipse, but it’s extremely different. I’d have to go back and reread New Moon to really decide which way I like better.
